MISSOURI WESTERN VISIT: Any senior who would like to go on a college visit to Missouri Western on November 23rd, please see Mrs. Hitch in the counseling center. There is limited availability so it is first come first serve. You must be passing all your classes, have high attendance and have taken the ACT. Students must sign up by Wednesday, November 18th.

A+ TUTOR TRAINING: A+ Tutor Training will be be held on the following dates in November:
  • Monday, November 16th, at 2:45 PM
  • Monday, November 23rd, at 7 AM
December tutor training sessions will be held on the following dates:
  • Wednesday, December 2nd, at 2:45 PM
  • Wednesday, December 16th, at 7 AM
All training sessions will be in Mrs. O'Dell's room in the library. If you have questions, please see Ms. Sherard in the A+ office.

COTILLION ACT SCORE: If any student who applied for Cotillion just received a higher ACT score in the October testing cycle than what you had previously received, you need to report it to Mrs. Turner or Mrs. Hitch ASAP!

BELCHER SCHOLARSHIP: Congratulations to Shelby Hawkins! Out of all three high schools in St. Joseph, she was chosen to represent St. Joseph School District in the Belcher Scholarship Competition.

TRANSCRIPT REQUESTS: If you have applied to a college, you must request your transcript through Prep HQ, or it cannot be sent.

ALL-SCHOOL PLAY: Don't miss the romance, laughter and muffins in the classic play, "The Importance of Being Earnest." Showings will be held on the Benton stage on November 13th, 14th, 20th, and 21st at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are only $5!

FCCLA PENNY WARS: FCCLA is challenging all students to bring their pennies to CAMP. All monies will be donated to the United Way. The CAMP that has donated the greatest amount of money will be treated to ice cream!

TURN IT IN FOR THE WIN: For the month of November, any time you check out a book and have NO overdues, you'll be entered to win you choice of book by either Roland Smith or Stephenie Meyer, along with a swag bag of free stuff! Stop in the library for more details! Two winners, one male and one female, will be chosen.
