TODAY IS A RED DAY

SENIOR PICTURE DAY: Senior Class Group Pictures are scheduled for 10:50 am on Monday, Sept. 27th, in the Springer Gym. Packet information is available in the attendance office.

YEARBOOK PHOTOS: The deadline for having photos taken for the yearbook is Wednesday, September 15, 2010. Any student who has not had a yearbook photo taken on Registration or Make-up day can still be included by calling J. McBee Portrait Gallery and scheduling an appointment at their studio. This is the last opportunity you can be photographed for the yearbook. Don't be left out!

CONGRATS TO GIRLS TENNIS: Congratulations to the Girls Tennis team for their 5-4 win over Maryville on Monday. They are now 3-3. Their next game is Tues. at Cameron at 4 PM.

ACTIVITY TICKETS/ID CARDS: Students if you have paid for an activity ticket and do not have a "A" on the ID Card please come to the office to have that corrected. Do this prior to 9/16. There will be no refunds or admission list at the next home game!

JOSTENS RING EVENTS: Jostens will be at school next Monday, September 20th, at 8:30 AM to meet with the Junior class. At this time we will go over Jostens class ring program and will hand out information/order packets for students to take home and discuss with their parents. Jostens will return on Friday, September 24th during lunch periods to take class ring orders with the Junior class.

FBLA MEMBERS: Meeting tomorrow, Sept. 15, in Room 111 at 7:15 AM. We will be discussing the t-shirt design, community service and field trip ideas. Be there to provide your input. Last day to turn in fundraiser forms.

QUIZ BOWL MEETING: Like trivia? Like having the right answer? Then come to our Quiz Bowl informational meeting on Wednesday, September 15th, right after school in the library. Returning players, be sure to attend to discuss tournament/practice schedules.

TSA MEETING: There will be a Technology Student Association meeting in Room 108 on Tuesday, September 14th, after school at 3:00 PM. Any student involved in Industrial Technology classes that is interested can attend. It will last approximately 30 minutes.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: Any student who would like volunteer hours can work a shift during the Hyde Carnival on Friday, October 1st. To sign up, please see Ms. Hochenauer in the counseling center by September 27th.

OASIS CLUB: Hey all you gamers! There will be a brief Oasis meeting on Thursday, Sept. 16th, right after school in Mr. Reigert's room. Any questions please see Mr. Reigert.

PROM COMMITTEE MEETING: There will be a Prom Committee Meeting next Thursday, Sept. 16th, at 7 AM in Room 105. Please plan to attend!

WENDY'S HEISMAN SCHOLARSHIP: Seniors, if you participate in at least one sport and are a leader in your school & community then visit www.wendysheisman.com to appply for this scholarship opportunity.

CHANCELLOR'S SCHOLARSHIP AT MISSOURI S&T: If you are a senior, Have been accepted at Missouri S&T, GPA 3.75 or higher, ACT score 30 or higher, you may qualify! Deadline to apply is October 25, 2010. See your counselor or Ms. Hochenauer for details.

CONSIDERING MIZZOU?: December 1, 2010 is the scholarship priority deadline for Mizzou. Scholarship application for entering Mizzou freshman students can be found online at financialaid.missouri.edu.

KSTATE UNIV ENGINEERING SCHOLARSHIP: Seniors interested in engineering, GPA 3.60 of higher, ACT score 29 or higher qualify. Must apply for scholarship by November 1, 2010 at www.k-state.edu/admit/apply. See your counselor or Ms. Hochenauer for details.

MISSOURI CATTLEMEN'S FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP: Seniors! Have a GPA of 2.5 or better, are a member of the Missouri Junior Cattlemen's Association or your parents are members of the Missouri Cattlemen's Association? ou may qualify for the Missouri Cattlemen's Foundation Scholarship! If you meet the above requirements contact your counselor or Ms. Hochenauer for further information.
