Tuesday - September 1, 2009

DRAMA CLUB will have its first meeting of the year TODAY at 2:45 in the auditorium. Everyone is welcome to attend. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Schultz in room 102.

A+ TUTORING TRAINING: A+ Students: 50 hours of volunteer tutoring/mentoring is one of the requirements of the A+ Schools Program. Before you begin working on your tutoring hours, you must attend one tutor training session. Tutor training will be held in Mrs. O'Dell's classroom on the following dates:
  • TODAY, 2:45 p.m.
  • Thursday, September 10th 7:00 a.m.
  • Tuesday, September 15th 2:45 p.m.
  • Wednesday, September 23rd 7:00 a.m.
STUDENT COUNCIL: On Wednesday morning there will be a student council meeting in room A120 at 7:00am. It is imperative all student council members be there as we will plan for homecoming and freshman elections.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE GIRLS TENNIS TEAM on their first win against Atchison. All varsity players won their matches. Varsity players are: Kerstyn Bolton, Cami Pendleton, Marcy Withrow, Lindsey Green, Jessica Ball and Cassandra Peek. Our next match will be at Noyes on Sept. 1 against Lafayette beginning at 4 p.m. Hope to see some of you there.

SPAGHETTI DINNER: The boys soccer team will be hosting a spaghetti dinner fundraiser here at BHS in the cafeteria next Tuesday, August 25th! The tickets are $6 and they can be purchased from any boys soccer player or from Coach Bosch in room 100. Bring your friends and family out for some good food and to show your support for our BHS boys soccer team!
