CONGRATULATIONS TO THE GIRLS TENNIS TEAM on their first win against Atchison. All varsity players won their matches. Varsity players are: Kerstyn Bolton, Cami Pendleton, Marcy Withrow, Lindsey Green, Jessica Ball and Cassandra Peek. Our next match will be at Noyes on Sept. 1 against Lafayette beginning at 4 p.m. Hope to see some of you there.
TAILGATE PARTY: FREE for all students tonight (Friday, August 28th) from 5-7 pm on the Practice Field. There will be free food and drink, music, and games. Come hang out!
JOIN FCCLA: You must have taken a FACS class or be in a FACS Class to join. First meeting: Tuesday, September 8th in Room 103. See Mrs. Allen, Mrs. Ezzell or Mrs. Taliaferro if you have any questions.
FTA MEETING: If you like doughnuts and want to become a teacher, meet in Mrs. Hays' room (room 106) on September 1st at 7:10am to become a member of FTA (Future Teachers of America). Questions? Ask Taylor Woodruff or Mrs. Hays.
A+ TUTORING TRAINING: A+ Students: 50 hours of volunteer tutoring/mentoring is one of the requirements of the A+ Schools Program. Before you begin working on your tutoring hours, you must attend one tutor training session. Tutor training will be held in Mrs. O'Dell's classroom on the following dates:
- Tuesday, September 1st 2:45 p.m.
- Thursday, September 10th 7:00 a.m.
- Tuesday, September 15th 2:45 p.m.
- Wednesday, September 23rd 7:00 a.m.
