FTA MEETING: If you like doughnuts and want to become a teacher, meet in Mrs. Hays' room (room 106) on September 1st at 7:10am to become a member of FTA (Future Teachers of America). For further questions as Taylor Woodruff or Mrs. Hays.
FBLA MEETING: The first FBLA meeting will be at 7:10 a.m. in Room 111 on Thursday, Aug. 27. Anyone enrolled in a business class is invited to attend. We will plan for the next year . . . LifeSmarts competition, field trip, Back Pack Buddies donation, District competition, t-shirts, fundraiser ideas, etc.
VOLLEYBALL SCRIMMAGE: The Volleyball Red/White scrimmage is this Thursday at 6pm in Springer gym. Admission is free. Come support your BHS Lady Cards!
A+ TUTORING TRAINING: A+ Students: 50 hours of volunteer tutoring/mentoring is one of the requirements of the A+ Schools Program. Before you begin working on your tutoring hours, you must attend one tutor training session. Tutor training will be held in Mrs. O'Dell's classroom on the following dates:
- Tuesday, September 1st 2:45 p.m.
- Thursday, September 10th 7:00 a.m.
- Tuesday, September 15th 2:45 p.m.
- Wednesday, September 23rd 7:00 a.m.
