OASIS CLUB: A meeting for Oasis will be held TODAY in Mr. Reigert's room from 5:00 - 8:00 PM. If you have questions, please ask Mr. Reigert in Room A120.

FBLA DISTRICT COMPETITION: Passwords have been sent. You will need to set up a time with Mrs. Talbot or Mrs. Hays to take your online test for district competition before Thursday, February 18th. The sooner the better! After this date, you are no longer eligible to take the test.

SPORT PHYSICALS: Attention, athletes! If you need a sports physical, Health Express will be here Friday, February 12th, and Wednesday, February 24th. Please come see Mrs. Stephenson in the nurse's office for a form and more information.

A+ TUTOR TRAINING: A+ Tutor Training is scheduled for the following dates:
  • Wednesday, February 17th at 3:00 PM
These training sessions are held in Mrs. O'Dells' room in the library. If you have questions, please see Mrs. O'Dell or Ms. Sherard in the A+ Office.

SCHOLARSHIP FOR FUTURE TEACHERS: A brand NEW scholarship is available for a senior pursuing a degree to become a certified teacher. See Mrs. Turner in the counseling center for an application. Due date is TODAY.

CINDERELLA'S CLOSET: If you are needing a Prom Dress and/or accessories the Fairy Godmother is here to help! The 4th annual Cinderella's Closet will be open the next two weekends. Th next "Giveaway Day" is Saturday, March 6th, from 9 AM - 1 PM at the YWCA in downtown St. Joseph. The girls need to be from Northwest Missouri or Northeast Kansas (the St. Joseph area) in order to receive assistance. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Rucker.

HAVE A HEART FOR THE HOMELESS: The "Have A Heart" campaign will be held this week, February 8th - 12th. Like last year, we are having a competition between CAMPs for supplies that will help our homeless program. The winning camp will win choice of McDonald's breakfast or Dunkin Donuts! Bring toothpaste, bar soap, wash clothes, towels, etc., and be a winner!

SAY "I CARE ABOUT YOU!": Roses are Red, Violets are Blue, It's that time of year to say "I care about you!!" Students will sell bags of chocolate Hershey Kisses and take orders for carnations during lunch for you to purchase for your teachers, family, friends and (of course) your sweetheart! Kisses and carnations will sell for one dollar, the best bargain in town! Any questions, see Mrs. Rucker.
