STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS
AUDITIONS for the all-school play, "Who Killed Elvis?" will take place on Today, January 7th at 3:00 in the auditorium. There are roles for over 30 people. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Schultz in room 102.
Upward Bound Students Need To Call the office by Friday for the upcoming Saturday Session.
NWMSU will be here February 9, 2009. Any student interested in attending needs to sign up in the counseling office by the end of the day prior to the visit.
Freshman, Sophomores, and Juniors:
The Upward Bound Math & Science (UBMS) program at Northwest Missouri State University will be at Benton on Monday, Jan 26th during seminar. This program is a FREE 6-week Residential Program during the summer at Northwest Missouri State University. It is focused on developing students math and science skills, in a fun filled hands-on atmosphere. UBMS also helps students gain confidence and expands leadership skills so that they will be more successful in college!
All math and science teachers will have a sign up sheet in their classrooms. You must sign up by Thursday, January 22nd to attend the presentation. See Mrs. Arambula if you have any questions.
STEP TEAM: The Step Team will meet Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3:00 to 3:30 in the lower annex hallway (check in Room A3). Members must attend twice a week. ALL ARE WELCOME.

Interact Club is back and ready to make a difference in the community. There will be a meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 13th after school in the counseling center.

The US Military Academy is having a summer leaders seminar for juniors from May 30-June 5 or June 6-12 at West Point. The cost is $325 plus transportation to
West Point. The experience will be an outstanding experience that will expose
you to cadet life at the academy. Application is due April 1st. Apply online
at www.admissions.usma.edu.
