TODAY IS A WHITE DAY

CONGRATS TO GIRL'S TENNIS: Congratulations to the girls tennis team for their win over Maryville 5-4 on Thursday. Team Districts are on Monday after school at Noyes and Individual Districts are on Thursday. Their ending season record is 7-6. Way to go girls!

PUMPKIN FEST VOLUNTEERS: Any student interested in volunteering at Pumpkin Fest this year, please see Ms. Hochenauer in the counseling center THIS WEEK! Pumpkin Fest is October 8th, 9th, and 10th.

COMMUNITY BLOOD CENTER: Any student interested in volunteering at the Community Blood Center, please see Ms. Hochenauer or contact Sue or Julie at the CBC at 232-6791 to set up a time.

JOSTEN'S RING ORDERS: Josten's plans to be here on Friday, October 1st, before school to take additional class ring orders. If you have not ordered your class ring and would like to, please see the sales rep at this time. Please be sure to bring your $50 deposit.

JOSTEN'S GRADUATION ORDERS: Josten's will be at Benton High School on Monday, October 11, 2010 at 2:10 P.M. for a senior class meeting. At this time we will go over Jostens Announcement and Cap and Gown Program and students will receive information/order packets that they will need to take home and discuss with their parents. On Monday, October 25, 2010 during lunch periods we will be in the cafeteria to take graduation product orders with the senior class.

BUS TO MARYVILLE: On Oct. 1st, there will be a bus to Maryville full of Cardinal Crazies. To join the bus it will cost $5 per person. If there is not 40 people signed up, then the bus does not run. Please bring your $5 when you sign up in Mr. Knight's room.

HOMECOMING T-SHIRTS: Homecoming T-shirts are sold in Mr. Knight's room. The price is cut in half. Have some memorabilia from the game. The cost for a t-shirt is $5 and we only offer 2XL, M and S. The rest have been sold

NOYES CARNIVAL: Noyes Elementary needs help for their carnival. We need people to volunteer to help out. Seniors you can use this as volunteer hours for graduation. Also student council, this sign up is mandatory for you. The Carnival is Oct. 14th from 5-8. Please sign up in Mr. Knight's room.

TSA MEETING: There will be a TSA meeting in room 108 on Tuesday, October 5th after school at 2:45pm. Any student involved in Industrial Technology classes that is interested can attend. It will last approximately 30 minutes.

NWMSU VISIT DAY: Northwest Missouri State University is hosting Computing Visit Day on Saturday, October 9th, 2010. It represents an opportunity for students to learn about Computing at Northwest, and one lucky attendee will win a $1,150 scholarship. For more information or to sign up, please see Ms. Hochenauer in the counseling center.

MWSU DEADLINE: Priority deadline for Admissions is November 15, 2010. In order to meet the priority deadline you must have turned into MWSU a completed application, ACT score, & high school transcript.

WENDY'S HEISMAN SCHOLARSHIP: Seniors, if you participate in at least one sport and are a leader in your school & community then visit www.wendysheisman.com to appply for this scholarship opportunity.

CHANCELLOR'S SCHOLARSHIP AT MISSOURI S&T: If you are a senior, Have been accepted at Missouri S&T, GPA 3.75 or higher, ACT score 30 or higher, you may qualify! Deadline to apply is October 25, 2010. See your counselor or Ms. Hochenauer for details.

CONSIDERING MIZZOU?: December 1, 2010 is the scholarship priority deadline for Mizzou. Scholarship application for entering Mizzou freshman students can be found online at financialaid.missouri.edu.

KSTATE UNIV ENGINEERING SCHOLARSHIP: Seniors interested in engineering, GPA 3.60 of higher, ACT score 29 or higher qualify. Must apply for scholarship by November 1, 2010 at www.k-state.edu/admit/apply. See your counselor or Ms. Hochenauer for details.
