CARDINAL WORD OF THE DAY: Eleemosynary (adjective) - supported by charity. Many eleemosynary organizations are facing drastic cuts in today's economy, including Habitat for Humanity.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: If any students are interested in volunteering for the Hall Elementary Carnival on September 8th, please see Ms. Hochenauer. You can work any shifts from 4:30-8:30, or the entire time. This will count towards 10 hours of community service needed to graduate.

MISSOURI UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY CHANCELLOR'S SCHOLARSHIP: Requirements: GPA 3.75 or better, ACT score of 30 or better, the application can be downloaded from sfa.mst.edu. Application must be postmarked by Nov 1, 2011.
