STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS:
SENIOR VARSITY LETTER winners need to pick up a Senior Athletic Resume in the main office and complete by Monday April 27th. Please return completed resumes to Mrs. Miller or Mr. Ziesel.
THE B-CLUB BANQUET will be May 6th at the Fulkerson Building on the Missouri Western State University Campus. Only 2009 Varsity letter winners are eligible for this banquet. Information is provided in the Attendance office for those attending. Please take home a letter invitation to your parents for this prestigious event. Reservation deadlines are Tuesday, April 28th.

SOPHOMORE OR JUNIOR students interested in applying for FMPs for next year, please see Mrs. Liles (odd days) Room 105 or Mrs. Talbot in Room 111 to pick up an application packet. All information will be due TODAY by 1 p.m. NO EXCEPTIONS. We do not know how this program will work next year. You will not be guaranteed a Cadet Training hour and/or numbers may be limited.
HOSEA IS LOOKING for volunteers for the Hosea Carnival, this Saturday, April 25th from 9:00-3:00. Please see Mrs. Arambula if you would like to volunteer.
SENIORS - It is crucial for you to turn in your community service hours immediately. I only have a few student hours recorded. If you are in need of community service hours please see Mrs. Arambula. There will be a mandatory Senior Service Day on Tuesday, May 26th that will count toward your community service requirement to graduate.
WESTERN STATE UNIVERSITY 2009 Summer Research Institute June 1st - July 24th with an opportunity to work as part of a research team with a faculty member & MWSU student. Research teams include Biology, English, Foreign Language & Journalism, Mathematics and Nursing. If interested in being a part of one of these teams, see Mrs. Arambula.
COLLEGES VISITING BENTON: Any student interested in attending needs to sign up in the counseling office by the end of the day prior to the visit.

SECOND HARVEST is launching a program that will distribute 12,000 lunches to children this summer! There will be 5 part-time positions available to assist with the program. The pay is $7.25 per hour, 12 weeks, 10 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Senior age or above is preferable. Job applications are available in the Counseling Center.
MISSOURI CHAMBER OF COMMERCE will hold the 13th statewide leadership development workshop for current freshmen. Workshop will be in Mexico, Missouri July 8-10. It is a great opportunity to develop decision-making and leadership skills. Please see Mrs. Arambula if you are interested.
