STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS:


THE B-CLUB BANQUET will be May 6th at the Fulkerson Building on the Missouri Western State University Campus. Only 2009 Varsity letter winners are eligible for this banquet. Information is provided in the Attendance office for those attending. Please take home a letter invitation to your parents for this prestigious event. Reservation deadlines are Tuesday, April 28th.

HEY SENIORS- It's time for Project Graduation and tickets go on sale April 30th. Please see Ms. Sherard in the library or room A114 to get your ticket, you won't want to miss it, it's going to be a blast.

VARIETY NIGHT LIVE: Looking for a night of fun? Don't miss Variety Night Live featuring the Redbird Comedy Troupe, singers, dancers, and musicians. The show is one night only on Saturday, May 2nd, at 7:00 p.m. Admission is $5 and benefits scholarships!

SENIORS - It is crucial for you to turn in your community service hours immediately. I only have a few student hours recorded. If you are in need of community service hours please see Mrs. Arambula. There will be a mandatory Senior Service Day on Tuesday, May 26th that will count toward your community service requirement to graduate.

WESTERN STATE UNIVERSITY 2009 Summer Research Institute June 1st - July 24th with an opportunity to work as part of a research team with a faculty member & MWSU student. Research teams include Biology, English, Foreign Language & Journalism, Mathematics and Nursing. If interested in being a part of one of these teams, see Mrs. Arambula.

MISSOURI CHAMBER OF COMMERCE will hold the 13th statewide leadership development workshop for current freshmen. Workshop will be in Mexico, Missouri July 8-10. It is a great opportunity to develop decision-making and leadership skills. Please see Mrs. Arambula if you are interested.
