MISSOURI LEADERSHIP SEMINAR: Sophomores if you are interested in building your leadership skills and having a chance to represent Benton High School at the Missouri Leadership Seminar on June 4th-6th at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg see Mrs. Engel for an application. Completed applications must be returned to Mrs. Engel by Monday, February 1st.

SPORT PHYSICALS: Attention, athletes! If you need a sports physical, Health Express will be here Friday, February 12th, and Wednesday, February 24th. Please come see Nurse Stephenson for a form and information.

A+ TUTOR TRAINING: A+ Tutor Training is scheduled for the following dates:

  • February 17th at 3:00 PM

2ND SEMESTER SCHEDULE CHANGES: Counselors will be making schedule changes for 2nd semester from TODAY until the end of school day on Monday, January 11th. Any requests received after that date will not be considered.

The only changes that will be considered are for semester-long classes during the same hour. Things to remember are:
  1. We cannot take you out of a year-long class.
  2. We cannot change the teacher you have for a subject.
  3. We cannot change you from Honors to Non-honors.
FBLA MEETING ON FRIDAY: FBLA meeting will be Friday, January 8th, at 7:10 AM in Room 111. Please be there to finish the LifeSmarts competition and begin preparing for the FBLA district contest in March.
