TODAY IS A WHITE DAY

CARDINAL WORD OF THE DAY: Plangent (adjective) - 1. having a loud reverberating sound 2. having an expressive and especially plaintive quality. The long lyrical poem was a plangent memorial to lost loves and vanished friends.

BOYS TENNIS MEETING: There will be an informational meeting for any male individual that is interested in playing tennis next Wednesday at 2:45 in room A115.

FCA MEETING: If you're interested in Fellowship of Christian Athletes and would like to join, ask Marci Withrow for more information or come to the meeting in the ROTC room on Thursday, February 24th at 7:10 AM.

ATTENTION ATHLETES: The Health Express will be here February 25th to do sports physicals. The cost is $15 cash or check. Come see the nurse, Mrs. Stephenson, for a form and more information.

RED CROSS HEROES: Any student who is interested in becoming a Hero for the America Red Cross and gaining 30 volunteer hours should contact Ms. Turner in the counseling center or call Kevin Kirby at 816-232-8439. For those of you interested in getting scholarships, this is a great activities resume builder.
