TODAY IS A RED DAY

CARDINAL WORD OF THE DAY: Epistemic (adjective) - of or relating to knowledge or knowing; cognitive. Professor Rich is convinced that the quest for epistemic certainty is a foolhardy one.

PLAY AND PANCAKE NIGHT: Drama Club will be having a play and pancake night on Saturday Feb. 12th. We will be going to the Missouri Theatre to see the musical, Honk and then to I-Hop after the show. Tickets to the show are $9. Money must be turned in to Mrs. Schultz by Tuesday, Feb 8th.

ATTENTION ATHLETES: The Health Express will be here February 11th and 25th to do sports physicals. The cost is $15 cash or check. Come see the nurse, Mrs. Stephenson, for a form and more information.

RED CROSS HEROES: Any student who is interested in becoming a Hero for the America Red Cross and gaining 30 volunteer hours should contact Ms. Turner in the counseling center or call Kevin Kirby at 816-232-8439. For those of you interested in getting scholarships, this is a great activities resume builder.

SOPHOMORES: Completed Hillyards applications are due to the counseling center by February 15th.

UPWARD BOUND MATH/SCIENCE: Any 9th through 11th grade student interested in information about Northwest Missouri State’s Upward Bound, Math/Science Program should sign the list in the counselor’s office ASAP. A representative from this program will be here on Monday, Feb 7th during CAMP. This program is for college bound individuals who would like to attend a summer camp at Northwest Missouri State.
