TODAY IS A WHITE DAY

CARDINAL WORD OF THE DAY: Immoderate (adjective) - exceeding just, usual, or suitable bounds. The budget buffet attracted customers with immoderate appetites but limited pocketbooks.

BENTON CARDINELLE TRYOUTS: Any (8th grade-Junior) girl wanting to tryout for the 2011-2012 Cardinelle Pom squad please stop by Mrs. Ezzell's room 107 on Tues. at 3:10pm to gather information about trying out.

ATTENTION PROM COMMITTEE MEMBERS: We will have our next meeting at 7:00 am next Tuesday in Mrs. Hays' room. We will now be meeting every Tuesday morning from now until prom because we have a lot to do! Please make sure you can attend.

ACT REMINDER: If you are taking the ACT on Saturday, please remember to try to arrive early which means around 7:40. Please remember to bring your own calculator and picture ID. A calculator will not be provided for you. You may want to bring a hoodie or jacket just in case it gets chilly.

NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY: The deadline for turning in your paperwork for the National Honor Society has been extended until this Friday, February 11, 2011. If you have questions, please see Ms. Bosworth, room 209 or Ms. Sherard in Room A114 to answer any questions or to turn in papers.

PLAY AND PANCAKE NIGHT: Drama Club will be having a play and pancake night on Saturday Feb. 12th. We will be going to the Missouri Theatre to see the musical, Honk and then to I-Hop after the show. Tickets to the show are $9. Money must be turned in to Mrs. Schultz by Tuesday, Feb 8th.

ATTENTION ATHLETES: The Health Express will be here February 11th and 25th to do sports physicals. The cost is $15 cash or check. Come see the nurse, Mrs. Stephenson, for a form and more information.

RED CROSS HEROES: Any student who is interested in becoming a Hero for the America Red Cross and gaining 30 volunteer hours should contact Ms. Turner in the counseling center or call Kevin Kirby at 816-232-8439. For those of you interested in getting scholarships, this is a great activities resume builder.

SOPHOMORES: Completed Hillyards applications are due to the counseling center by February 15th.
